Media Audiences

* The film is addressed to children as it has been rated PG. The target audience is most likely to be those aged 7-12 due to the film's content.

* The assumption that the audience will be able to identify between the different types of characters within this film is clearly shown. The variety of characters allows to audience to decide for themselves who they do and don't like. As well as this is the ability for all people, no matter what age, race, or gender to be able to watch the film and not feel as though they have not been included due to the wide variety of demographics seen within the film.

* Seen within the film is a lot of comedy which is probably why the audience is more likely to consist of those who enjoy a good laugh. Due to the film's certificate, the director will have assumed that children will watch the film, which s why they have featured young characters in the form of Evan's sons.

* Due to the film hosting big names such as Steve Carell, John Goodman, and Wanda Sykes, the audience are more than likely to expect the film to be full of comedy, entertainment, and fun, due to these actors, and actresses being some of the biggest names in comedy.

* Already knowing that the film is likely going to receive a large amount of children as the primary audience, we can assume that the secondary audience is going to be adults/parents due to them having to take their children to see the film.

* The text has been made to entertain and educate people into the story behind "Noah & The Ark". Due to my age, gender, and background, I don't think I could be influenced by what happens in the film as I am not in my 40's, male, or rich. However, for those who do lead the same sort of lifestyle as the protagonist, they may be able to feel represented due to the portrayal of themselves through someone else. From watching this film, many people are able to gain more knowledge behind the story of how Noah created the Ark.
